Team Miroma 2024 – More training at Night
In a busy day often, you only have the nights to fit in some training. Some nights can be quite amazing when the air is still, the sky is clear and moon is full. Pleasure to be out and about building up for run. James often is restless at night and taking him out for a drive and walk settles him down. He loves music, so the car trip is really road trip with volume up to max!
Then there is the night training with the football. This time I warmed up properly with a couple of laps of the oval before the kick of the ball. Soccer training is really sprint, skills and teamwork training.
In other words, “survival” training. The season is nearly finished but delayed due to the rain, so there has been catch up games, during the week at night and weekends. Got to watch out for injuries! Good thing the bridge run is Sunday 15th September 2024.
Team Miroma, with Jo, is running to raise awareness of young adults with disabilities and to raise funds to help them learn more and be more.
