The training now begins. The man has just finished the strange soccer of 2022. Knocked about by people sick with Covid and/or the flu or taking care people who are sick. However, mother nature managed to isolate us from the outside with the rain, floods and more rain and more mud and floods and there’s more…
Also, it’s cold. Puffer jackets all the rage. Hopefully, by the 18th September, warmer “Goldilocks” weather will return, with the many viruses on a way ticket to oblivion!
I will be starting my training, but Jo and Amy have been already been busy racking up the kilometres with the Bay to Bay half Marathon.
Well done guys! I have lot of ground to cover over the next six weeks. I am very grateful for all those who have trained me over the last 14 years. James will be passing another milestone of reaching 25 years. He has come a long way however very limited speech is his main issue. Don’t worry he has other ways of communicating, such as shouting with a wonderful tonal voice while I am writing this blog.
Jo has known James, and been a friend of the family, for many years. She some understanding of him. We really appreciate her, and her family’s support.
We are ready to sweat it out for Miroma and have a lot of fun along the way.
