Once again we braved the 8am start at Milson’s Point near Luna Park to run over the Bridge to finish at the Opera House. What a beautiful day! I would like to thank the generosity of patients, friends, colleagues, business and people online who donated to Miroma.
It’s also thanks to all of you who have read the blogs in the hope of raising awareness of adults with disabilities that they want to contribute to society. They love life! I always admire how they do this. It pushes me along in my life knowing this.
I want to thank especially Ellie who came on board, after many years, out of the blue to re-join the team. This is especially important, as Joy had to pull out, due to last minute commitments, even though she had booked the flights to come to Sydney.
Ellie helped greatly with the preparation for the run and especially on the big day. It was fun and inspirational!
We did it for Miroma (part of Inala)!
