Merry Christmas from Seymour Dental 2017

Another year has flown by and we are now at Christmas again. We are always honoured to treat such wonderful patients, many of whom have been with us since they were babies! This is what makes us get up in the morning and fight the crazy Sydney traffic – the people. It is an amazing feeling to see people change their lives for the better when their lives have been improved by the care they have been given by the team of people that work here.

The nurses who have been with the practice for many years are amazing. They are willing to learn, have fun and are professional. They have made patients feel welcome almost to the point that patients had forgotten that are at the dentist! I am blessed to work with such great staff, who are apart the “Seymour Dental family”.

They also do the important work of assisting the dentist in the surgery, infection control, organising the day to day functions of the surgery. These lovely people are Sue, Renee, Roni, Maggie, who are the backbone of the surgery. We also have our casuals who are a valuable help, Samia, and our dental students Saba, Sherwin, Nazli and Joy.

The dentists at the practice always have a high level of professionalism and have an excellent attitude towards the patients and the staff. We really appreciate your contribution to the practice and the friendships you have given to everyone over the years. Many thanks go to Dr Jason Watson, Dr Dilara Yashin, Dr Kim Nguyen, and Dr Mary Hatem.

This year has seen many changes as life moves on.

Dr Jason Watson and Dr Dilara Yashin have left to concentrate on their own practices and we wish them well! It’s been an honour and a joy to work with them.

Joy has now graduated as a dentist. I want to personally thank Joy for her role in Team Miroma this year. She even said she will run with me next year! You will always be a part of the Seymour Dental family. I always wish I have a place at the practice for all the students that graduate as dentists. We wish you well!

Saba is our newest dental student who hails from Canada and has fit right into the practice.

Dr Mary Hatem joins us and works on Saturdays and has recently been engaged to Joe. Congratulations!

Dr Kim Nguyen has recently been married to Jimmy. Again Congratulations! Wahoo!

Thank you to the dental labs that provide quality work and have gone far beyond giving great service for our patients, Flex Dental (Sam) and Brad McCann. The place would not keep running without the maintenance carried out with great service by Tristan Dental and HTC.

Computers are integral to the practice and Mark, my brother, has been there to help to keep the place going. Teamwork Solutions have also helped out when needed.

Aisha has been amazing with Facebook, Social and Digital Media part of the practice. The man from Volt Creative, Adam, needs to be thanked for the website and for making these blogs look so good!

Thank you for all who donated to Team Miroma this year! Amazing! I hope the raised awareness will help so many people and to make their future a lot brighter.

I would not be able to achieve anything without my wonderful wife Eva, who has done so much for the family over many years, especially for our son James. He is the wonderful young man he is because of her efforts.

Merry Christmas, as we celebrate Jesus’ birth.
