Merry Christmas from all of us at Seymour Dental 2015

Seymour dental would like to thank all the patients who have graced our chairs! It’s been a privilege to help people and we want to thank you for your kind referrals as well. We aim to improve people’s lives and get to know you along the way. Dentistry is a very personal form of treatment. Everyone is different and we try our best to achieve this.

This would not be possible without a great team. The dental nurses do a lot to hopefully make a visit almost feel like you are not at the dentist. They also do a lot behind the scenes to make sure that the practice runs efficiently. Importantly, they also have your safety centremost in their mind by maintaining the highest standard of infection control.

I want to thank Renee, Sue, Roni, Maggie, Mary, Nazli, for their professionalism, care and devotion to the patients and to the practice. There is always a lot to learn and they are willing to learn. We do try and enjoy ourselves even though it can be stressful at times. They make Seymour Dental what it is today.

I would like to extend my thanks to Dr Dilara Yashin, Dr Eleni Nanitsos and Dr Jason Watson, for their professional care and always going the extra mile for their patients.

This year also saw new members join our team. Dr Kim Nguyen, our new dentist started in March and has fit right in with the practice and the staff. Joy and Sherwin, dental students and nurses, also joined us this year. Also Samia has recently started with us as a sterilising nurse. We now have a social media manager, Aisha. This is a sign of how times have changed.

We recently upgraded our computers which did have its moments but finally we got there in the end. Thanks again to my brother, Mark for his computer know-how and advice, and Adam, at VOLT Creative, for another year of great website support. Many thanks go to Nina, and to my father, for the general upkeep of the place.

Once again thanks to the dental labs for their quality work for the patients; Tristan Dental and HTC for the maintenance of the equipment.

Special mention to the staff who ran with me on Team Wairoa, Roni and Kim. This year we raised over $3,700. The best ever! I really appreciate the effort it takes to train, do the 9km Harbour Bridge run and to help raise money for a worthy cause.

I would to thank my wife and family for their love and support throughout 2015.
