Some of us think we may never need dentures, especially the young amongst us. However, teeth do get knocked out through injury, car and sporting accidents, or you may genetically have been born with missing teeth. You may need a denture while waiting for implants to heal before crowns go onto the implants. Unfortunately, not everyone is suitable for implants. Sometimes you may want to have implants, but not straightway; dentures may be used to stabilise the bite and the space ready for the future implant.
