Dr Kim Nguyen – Part-time dentist

Seymour Dental welcomes Kim to the team. Dr Kim Nguyen has a Bachelor of Dentistry with Honours from Sydney University as well as a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree. She continues to work as a registered pharmacist on a casual basis at Liverpool Hospital. This is a testament to her nurturing, caring nature as she enjoys working with and helping people of all ages in these two varied positions in health.

Kim believes in making the dental visit as enjoyable as possible and likes to get to know her patients for the long haul. As most dental diseases are preventable, she encourages dental visits from an early age to ensure patients are equipped with information and have regular checkups that will create good lifelong oral habits, for their benefit. Preventative dentistry has proven to be more cost effective compared to only attending emergency appointments, when dental disease has progressed to a point where treatment options are limited and often are more invasive and expensive.

Kim has experience in providing services in all aspects of general dentistry but has a particular interest in restorative dentistry and oral surgery.

Her background in pharmacy further enables a holistic patient care approach. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association and continues to keep up to date with education through continuing professional development courses.

In her spare time, Kim enjoys cooking, travelling and holds a 2nd Dan black belt in Tae Kwon Do, so she may look small but watch out.
