If the filling is sensitive to hot and cold after two days the filling may be in the way of the bite and may need an adjustment. Please call if you are not sure.
Amalgam fillings – avoid hard foods for 24 hours.
Local Anaesthetics – you may be numb for up to 5 hours so avoid hot foods or drinks and do not touch or bite the numbed area especially when feeling starts to return otherwise you may injury yourself. Parents if children have been numbed for a procedure please watch out that they do not touch the numbed area.
